Our American Red Bitter is an updated rendition of the ‘Wise Ass Red Bitter’ which was introduced in ‘The Complete Joy of Brewing’ by Charlie Papazian. It is a rich-tasting bitter ale with exceptional body and head retention. This hoppy style with it’s obvious malt aroma coupled with a deep red color should satisfy most brewer’s desires for a rich red Bitter style.
