Bit O'Brogue Scotch Ale

Big Ben Barley Wine

Color International Bittering Units Alcohol
13 77 +/- 9.6

Big Ben Barleywine is a classic example of an English Barleywine. The huge body and malty flavor are resultant from the exceptionally high gravity. Copper to medium brown in color, this style has an obvious warmth from the alcohol content so you better tuck this one away for some extended aging.

Don't be alarmed by the high bittering rate, when this is adaquately aged, it will be extremely malty. If you can keep some of this beer around for 4-5 years, you will be drinking one of the best beers you will ever taste.
