English Barley Wine

Dead Dude Ale

Color International Bittering Units Alcohol
14 27 +/- 5.6

This beer was originally brewed by Oregon Brewing Co. It was inspired by All Souls’ Day (a.k.a. Day of the Dead) which follows Halloween on Nov 2nd. This beer was released under the Dead Guy Ale label around the time of the Grateful Dead summer tour in ‘94.

It has a white head which contrasts the light mahogany color. The aroma explodes with rich, sweet malt that precedes the malty palate that lingers. The hint of spicy hops lingers in the background for this well balanced beer.

Commercial example: Rogue’s Dead Guy Ale
