The most sensible of the three Bitter varieties, an Englishman would choose this deep golden English Ordinary Bitter if he were thirsty. It’s not as alcoholic as Special Bitter, and has a slightly less assertive hop bitterness with the slight "biscuit" character associated with English Bitters. It is very refreshing without inducing the fatigue caused by large amounts of alcohol.
