St. Alan's Wee Heavy Scotch Ale is a creamy, very chewy, slightly smoky example of a Strong Scotch Ale. A wee tad less hoppy than our Scottish Export (while considerably maltier), it is similar in flavor to its English cousins, the Bitter family. The addition of peated malt enhances the smoky character of this "session beer." |
