Hop Shortage


Due to unprecedented demand on supply and a lack of supply in the marketplace, we have had to stop selling hops in the 4oz and 16oz packages at the present time.

We are searching for sources of supply until the new harvest is available which will be in 30-60 day range. Imported hops are hurting as badly as domestic hops but the new harvest on those hops don't come on-line until December at the earliest.

We are unable to supply quantity purchases of hops even in 1 ounce sizes. Due to excellerating demand that is feeding this buying frenzy, we are installing limits on the amount of hops that we are willing to sell until supply of the new harvest is determined. We will not fill orders of ONLY hops. We will only fill orders on hops based on recipe ingredients being ordered - at our discretion.

Please, please discourage your fellow brewers from stocking up and we will all get through this together. Panic buying is leading to higher and higher prices and putting extra demand on supply.

Due to a few people that have never bought from us but yet think they have a right to buy as many hops as they want, we are withdrawing all hops for a few days while we reavaluate and reprice what we will consider for sell.

The pellet hops are packaged in UV/Ultra-Barrier bags.
The whole leaf hops are packaged in vacuum-packed oxygen-barrier bags.
All hop packages are labeled with the EXACT alpha rating.

Used to hold pelletized hops. Helps to eliminate amount of straining following the boiling process

Used to hold whole leaf hops to minimize the straining process.
