American Cream Stout

Color International Bittering Units Alcohol
41 18 +/- 4.8

American Cream Stout is a full bodied black beer. The reduced use of roasted barley, a milder hop rate, and the use of lactose help to create a malty "cream" flavored beer that matures quickly. The use of traditional noble hop varieties imparts a uniquely German character. It has a creamy, long-lasting head. The nose is malty, with a slight spiciness.

In the style of: Watney’s, Samuel Adams Cream Stout
