Boston Honey Porter

Color International Bittering Units Alcohol

Boston Honey Porter is a new twist to one of the oldest styles of beer in the world. Originated in England in the 1730's, Porters have been popularized by U.S. microbreweries. The use of honey in the steeping process of this recipe contributes both a pronounced honey character and a distinct dryness which is balanced by the maltiness of the chocolate malt. The hop rate of this beer is lower than a standard dry Porter . It is well balanced and almost black in color.

In the style of: Samuel Adam’s Honey Porter.
