English Oatmeal Stout

Color International Bittering Units Alcohol
45 37 +/- 4.0

Our English Oatmeal Stout is a full bodied, opaque black beer using generous helpings of roasted barley & other black malts to derive the color & flavor. In addition, we have used a portion of the finest Irish oatmeal to add complexity and a slight astringency to the beer. The bitterness from the roasted barley and the aggressive hop rate create the dry character associated with stouts. It will have a creamy, long-lasting head that is enhanced by the use of flaked barley. The nose will be malty.

In the style of: Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout
