This wonderful flower tastes very much like licorice until you actually taste licorice whereupon you will realize that licorice is much, much sweeter. The Star Anise in the past was chewed after meals to freshen breath and aid in digestion. Use it in Holiday Beers like they do in Belgium. | ||||||
