Slightly more bitter than the Canadian Ale, and lacking the fruity
esters produced by the yeast, a Canadian Lager has a cleaner taste and more striking
clarity than its top-fermenting counterpart. It is slightly lighter in flavor, unearthing
the traditional hop character. It will be highly carbonated with low to medium head
retention. The nose will exhibit an encompassing floral bouquet, with a maltiness that is
somewhat difficult to pinpoint.
